You enter the coffee shop and sit down at a table. You order a smoked salmon sandwich and a hot chocolate and sit patiently to await your food. Glancing outside, you see most of the rest of the group huddling by the wall outside in the cold, and you feel comforted that you made the right decision since you have a long hike ahead of you and some warmth and a good meal will give you the energy you need for the day. Savoring the salmon that seems to melt in your mouth and the hot chocolate that warms you soul, the time passes uneventfully until the professors let you know it's time to regroup and head out. Your wallet may be slightly lighter, but you feel quite satisfied.

You walk ahead with Pierce and he stops the group at a sea wall and points to a group of seals that you all take pictures of, although yours don't turn out very well due to your limited zoom, you are still pretty happy with the shots that you spent a decent amount of time setting up. After the entire group is reunited for a brief request, you walk onward. You take two more short rests with the group before finally reaching the tourist information center where you take the opportunity to use the restroom, which you are relieved to find as your stomach has begun to feel a bit queasy--you hope you haven't caught the bug that's been going around. After a little while, you discover that you have to hike through knee deep water. Now you wish you had changed into your waterproof gear. As everybody prepares to cross you notice that Kevin, Ashley, and Terra have not yet reunited with the rest of the group.
